FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • REHERSAL INFO: Can we host a rehearsal? What about a rehearsal dinner?
    Yes! With the exception of our three day getaway packages, each wedding gets a one hour rehearsal pre-arranged with the venue staff on the Thursday before your event. For those with the three day package you may host your rehearsal and a dinner on your first rental day at your leisure.
  • VENDOR INFO: Do you have a preferred vendors list? Can I hire my own vendors?
    We are pleased to welcome any licensed vendor with whom you wish to partner, however we do have a curated preferred vendors list that was hand chosen due to their quality and excellent service. Our Grand Barn has an indoor prep kitchen with a two-door commercial refrigerator and ice machine. We require either full service caterers, or you may hire additional wait staff (one staff member per 50 guests) to service the venue before and after food service until 9:50pm. Food trucks may also be used in partnership with professional staffing services, and must serve their food buffet-style in the Grand Barn.
  • VENUE ACESS: Will there be other events going on at the property during my wedding?
    There will be no other events on the property during the hours of your designated rental. There may be some small nursery activity in the background but it will not be a disturbance to you or your guests whatsoever.
  • INCLEMENT WETATHER: Do you have a back up plan if it rains?
    Yes, our Grand Barn can act as an indoor ceremony location. During your cocktail hour our team will transition the barn into your reception space You may wish to rent an additional tent during the transitional cocktail hour to maximize comfort.
  • ALCOHOL: Can we bring our own alcohol?
    Yes! Our fully-equipped bar is the perfect space to station your licensed bartenders. Two licensed bartenders are required for events with 70 guests or more. We allow hard cider, hard seltzer, draft beer, wine, champagne, and two pre-mixed signature cocktails. No open bottles of hard alcohol are allowed on property. All events serving alcohol are required to obtain a banquet permit from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.
  • SET UP AND BREAK DOWN: Who is in charge of set up and break down on the wedding day?
    Trillium Nursery Farm sets up and breakdowns all tables, chairs and any other pre determined elements discussed at your final review meeting. The rest is up to your discretion. Set up time begins at the beginning of your rental period and must be completed prior to your rental end.
  • RENTALS AND DECORATIONS: What is provided and can we have candles or celebratory send off items?
    We provide 12 farmhouse banquet tables (fits up to 10), four round tables (fits up to 8) two sweetheart chairs, 140 indoor ceremony chairs, and 140 outdoor folding chairs. You also have access to our arch, sign easels and white drapery. LED candles, sparklers, and bubbles are allowed. All organic petals must be picked up prior to the end of your rental period. We recommend using a rental service through our preferred vendors list to get your linens, tableware, and other decor items.
  • VENUE HOST: What is a a venue host and do you offer on-site coordination?
    We provide a venue host to give assistance as needed for the property, including day-of chair and table placement agreed upon at your final review meeting. We require that you hire a day-of coordinator for your event to handle all other wedding aspects. We also provide a parking attendant and security guard.
  • MUSIC: Can the venue accommodate a DJ or live band?
    Absolutely. We have various location options for your musical guests! All reception dancing and music must be held in the Grand Barn.
  • LODGING: Do you provide any overnight accommodations?
    Our Three-Day Package or our add on night rental includes Trillium Cottage, our fully renovated 2,600-square foot farmhouse that sleeps seven.
